Meet Suzy Q!
Suzy
Q is a very, very sweet 17 pound, happy, five year old girl. She
was found running loose with a mate. The owners collected the
mate and left her behind to be euthanized - their loss!
Suzy Q is housebroken and will even bark to let you know if you
are not paying attention to her. She goes on command, too, and
knows how to use a doggie door.
She loves to be brushed, held, and touched - in fact, she needs
to be held. She very much wants to sit on your lap or next to
you and watch TV. She also does very well in a kennel or X-pen.
She greets people with enthusiasm and is an active little girl.
Suzy Q loves to go for walks but does need some leash work --
she is all over the place!
She rides very well in the car - in a crate or car seat. She cleans
her bowl and licks it twice! She is quiet in the house except
when someone comes to the door. Suzy Q was an absolute love at
the groomer; she gave kisses to everyone!
Suzy Q must be in a home where she is the only dog and, because
she is an escape artist, a Premier collar (greyhound collar) is
a must for this little one!
Please give Suzy Q a fresh start - she wants to give you love!
Suzy Q has been vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations,
on heartworm preventative, microchipped, and spayed.
Suzy Q is located in the Phoenix area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
