Snoop came to NBGR as an owner surrender who was not interacting well with a 5 year old child. When we got him he was heart worm positive – but now he is negative.
Snoop is a 2 year old, sweetheart of a guy who has lots of love to give and will be the best companion to his new family. He loves to snuggle, lay by your side, and even give his own special kiss..pressing his cheek up against yours when he wants to tell you he loves you!
Snoop would do best with a small, well adjusted doggie brother or sister, especially if he'll be left at home during the day. He is a little less confident if his griffy foster sister isn't around when the people go out for the day, but with the company of another small dog in your home he will do great. He loves men and women equally, and would do great in a home with older children – but not under age 10.
Snoop is house broken and is working on his leash manners as he gets very excited to see other dogs and people, but is not aggressive in any way. He is neutered and microchipped. Snoop is heart worm negative and is taking heart worm preventative. He is up to date on vaccines. Snoop weighs 9-10 lbs.
Snoop is being fostered in St. Petersburg, FL.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
