Meet Simba our new owner surrender. His family loved and cared for him but job changes did not allow them to spend enough time with him. Thankfully they reached out to NBGR for assistance.
Simba is 7 years and 18 (hoping to get to 16) pounds. He was an inactive dog, so walking and playing should help with the needed weight loss.
Simba loves to walk and go places. So excited when he see his harness come out. He was very polite when he met his veterinarian and on a field trip to Petsmart to pick out a new special toy. Did we mention he loves his toys and comes with a toy box full? Such a delightful dog.
Simba is housebroken and leash trained. He is comfortable with older children, men and women. He has always been an only dog, he is tolerant of other dogs and cats, but would prefer maybe only one other sibling.
We are hoping to find someone with lots of time to spend with this special boy. He also requires a spot on the big human bed.
Simba is neutered, just had a dental, is microchipped, HW negative and on preventative. All vaccines are current.
Simba is being fostered in Marion, OH.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
