Scottie is a sweet Griff who was surrendered to NBGR after the death of his dad. He is loving and a typical “Velcro” Griff who wants to be next to his human at all times.
Scottie gets along well with and enjoys the company of other dogs. He also enjoys playing with toys. He is crate trained and potty trained. He likes going for walks and is happy to meet strangers who greet him along the way.
He enjoys napping on the back of the sofa and sleeping under the covers in the big bed. Scottie would do well with a family who has someone who works from home or is home most of the time. He is fearful of strange noises and will bark or whine if concerned. Once accustomed to his new surrounding Scottie should adjust just fine.
Scottie is almost 6 year old, weighs 15 lbs., is fully vetted, micro chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.
Sadly, this darling boy lost his previous human who loved him dearly, do you have a little extra room in your home, your heart and maybe the big bed to welcome Scottie into your family? He’s a really good and handsome boy with lots of love to share.
Scottie is located in the Dallas, TX area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie Lawrence at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
