  Meet Sammy!
(#2807)

Hey everyone! My name is Sammy and I am such a lover...of everyone and everything! You will usually see me walking around with a smile on my face and a wagging tail, when I'm not snoring to pass some Zzzz's, of course. My foster mom loves it when I "talk", which really is just the noises I make when I approach and cuddle close to her. I'm about 6 years old and have lived with cats, children, large and small dogs so will be perfect in any situation! I think I have lived a great life and unfortunately my family had to surrender me to rescue because they had orders to move to another country with the military.

I'm a bit chunky at about 20#, but we are working on this with diet and more walks...ooh, I love walks. I also get a lot of exercise romping around with my foster brother and sister and enjoy every minute of it!

Sammy is truly a gem and would love a home with another furbaby to play with. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He usually sleeps in the big bed with everyone at night but has been known to move to the floor and sleep on his pillow beside the bed as well.

Sammy is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Sammy is heart worm negative and he takes heart worm preventative.

Sammy is being fostered in Orlando, FL.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
