Meet Rusty!

This adorable little puppy is 7 months old and weighs just 6 pounds! He is affectionate with people, loves to play with dogs, and likes cats, too. Rusty thinks he is very important & "prances" proudly wherever he goes. The only time he barks is when he wants your attention or is playing with the other dogs. His favorite place to nap is his foster Mom's lap and he loves to give her kisses. Rusty's true mission in life is to entertain you and himself!

Rusty was surrendered to NBGR by his breeder, who could no longer care for him because of her health issues. Rusty is neutered, heart worm negative, on preventative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is crate trained and working on his potty training too.

Rusty was very small, thin and frightened at first, so we gave him some extra TLC. Now he is eating well, is healthy and is ready to take on the world! Are you ready for Rusty?

Rusty is being fostered in central Indiana.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
