  Meet Ralphie!
(#2924)

Meet Ralphie, a 14 lb, 5 yr old, neutered male. He is up to date on his shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative.

Ralphie was an owner surrender because they didn't have the time to properly care for him. He spent long, 9 hr days crated and was unable to even relax in his free time due to an overly energetic toddler.

Ralphie is cautious of strangers and is very scared when meeting new people. He tries to act tough by barking. He will need an understanding new home to help him get over his fears with firm yet gentle guidance. His foster Mom is working on helping him learn to trust people and that people can be kind and loving. Once Ralphie learns he can trust you, he is a totally different little guy, who will be your best buddy for life!!

Ralphie just wants to be loved and to be able to snuggle up close to you, but he also LOVES long walks and enjoys running and playing with other small dogs in a fenced in yard, and enjoying life.

He is housetrained, leash trained, crate trained and doesn't get in any trouble when left alone in the house. He is quickly learning to sit when asked to do so, or to have his leash put on for a walk. He doesn't mind having his foster Mom trim his nails, or if she pets him when he is eating his dinner or even if she takes his food dish away.

Ralphie needs a home without any small children and someone who enjoys bonding with him and teaching him new things as he is very intelligent and likes to learn. He would probably do good in obedience and/or agility, or just a great pet with someone who wants to love him forever.

Ralphie is being fostered in Warminster, PA.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Cristen at emmaresq@yahoo.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
