  Meet Nora!
(#3580)

Attention all those with that extra soft spot for our senior Griffons,

Nora is looking for you!

Meet our sweet rescue from a horrible breeding facility. Nora was left in a cage her whole life in a barn only used to produce litter after litter. Itís no wonder it has taken her some time to understand a gentle hand or a warm spot on the bed at night. But Miss Nora is coming right along. She still has her moments of doubt, but patience and kindness are winning her over.

House training has been challenging, but she is getting there. Nora is content in a crate when her foster mom is not able to keep an eye on her. Evening TV time on the couch and of course bedtime are particularly special times. Nora sleeps in her own dog bed on the big bed at night and never moves.

Nora has chronic dry eye because of the conditions she lived in. She needs a med in each eye twice a day. Her vision is impaired and her hearing is very limited. This doesnít keep her from being a sweet girl that loves to follow her foster mom everywhere she goes.

Nora just had a dental. She is up to date on vaccines and is HW negative and on prevention. She is microchipped and spayed. Nora is about 10 years old and weighs about 12 lbs.

Nora is being fostered in Marion, OH - but if someone from the Tampa, FL area is interested Ė she could get a ride in December.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
