Meet Mojito!
(#3123)

Mojito was offered up on Craig’s List as “free to a good home”. Obviously his owners had no idea how dangerous this is, but thankfully, when they were contacted by a concerned volunteer, they were willing to surrender Mojito to NBGR to insure that he found a safe, loving home.
He was being surrendered because small children in the home were making him nervous. He was not getting the attention he deserved, and he was being kept in the backyard alone -- which he hated –so he tried to escape on several occasions. When he first arrived at his foster home he was shy, reserved, and lost.
Fast forward: Mojito is living the good life. He has lots of attention from his foster family, who adores him, and he has lots of foster siblings to rumble with. Take a look at his videos to see how much fun he is having. Mojito not only gets along with the other dogs in the home, he also likes to accompany his foster mom while she is tending the chickens. He is very polite and never chases them.
Mojito, who still has his puppy good looks and sports a Mohawk, is active, happy, and bouncy. He can also mellow down quickly and kick back, give him a little space to stretch out and enjoy his favorite chew bone and he’s a happy camper. This little guy is easy as they come.
Mojito, an Affenpinscher, is approximately 7 years old and weighs 10 lb. He is leash-trained and house-trained. He gets along with all dogs -- large and small -- and really loves to play. He also loves people and delights in any attention given to him.
This charmer is completely vetted and ready to meet his new family. Could that family be yours?
Mojito is located near Huntsville, TX.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie Lawrence at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
