Meet Maggie Moo!
Introducing our sweet girl Maggie Moo. Maggie is a happy little girl with lots of typical griffy traits we confess she can be a little bossy! We think that Maggie is about 2 years old and she currently weighs 11 lbs. but needs to gain about a pound. She loves to go for walks and walks nicely on her leash. Maggie does really well with all kinds of other animals the other dogs in her foster home, cats, and she isnt bothered at all about rabbits or ducks either! She can be dominant when she meets new dogs.
Maggie likes to have a big assortment of toys and can be a bit of a hoarder she collects all the available toys in her bed! She will play fetch with you and will return a ball most of the time.
Maggie is a little fearful of new people and does get barks with them but her little tail is wagging happily the whole time. Once she knows you she is very kissy and affectionate. She enjoys all your attention on her even for bathing and grooming her! Maggie is very good on her housebreaking habits as long as you keep her on a schedule although she may mark when she moves to a new environment.
Maggie enjoys car rides she sits in the back seat with her harness seat belted in like a perfect little lady.
Maggie is very athletic. On her first night in her foster home she just popped over the baby gates so she could explore the entire home. Once she felt secure and understood the rules in the house she accepted them and she no longer jumps over the gates but she should be considered an escape artist. She loves her crate and goes in on command and likes to hang out there.
Maggie would like a home with another small dog to play with but not too much chaos that makes her nervous and she gets barks and snappy.
Maggie is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.
Maggie is being fostered just north of Miami, FL.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
