  Meet Lizzie!
(#3195)
Adoption Pending

This adorable little girl is an owner surrender. She was surrendered to us because she snapped at the owner's 1 year old niece. She is also fearful of men.

Now let's talk about the good stuff! This little gal is as sweet as sugar in the right situation. A quiet home, possibly a retired woman, would be a good fit. She would be a constant snuggle companion. She is happy to take walks and then spend lots of time on the couch. She does attach to her person quickly and seems to need the security of a human more than another dog. She could be an only dog or share her home with 4 legged buddies. Her foster home has 2 griffons a medium sized dog and 1 cat. She is doing fine other than having a little trouble sharing her human with the other dogs but she is learning to share with a little help from her foster family. She does bark a little when company comes also getting better as she learns to be a polite hostess.

Miss Lizzie is a spunky smart little girl that is looking for a home where she can feel secure and loved.

Lizzie just turned 8 in September. She is spayed, microchipped and has had a dental. She is up to date on vaccines and on HW prevention. She has a very mild case of dry eye that is treated with daily drops.

Lizzie is being fostered in Indiana.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at gingersnap@frontier.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
