For all of you that have been following Libby's journey - now she is ready to complete that journey and find her forever home.
Four days after being freed from an Amish puppy mill, Libby whelped 5 healthy puppies. Libby barely knew her foster mom, but trusted her to help with the care of these precious babies. Never has there been a dog who trusted or loved more unconditionally than Libby. How fun it is now to watch her play and run through the house. She is so full of joy and happiness.
Libby has learned to potty outside. She still doesn't like the early morning wet grass, it takes a little encouragement for her to go out first thing. She loves to sleep on her foster mom's bed. She is happy to stay in the kitchen behind a gate when her foster mom is not home, but oh so happy when she returns.
Libby deserves the most special of homes. She has worked her whole life producing puppies in horrible circumstances. Now is her time to be loved unconditionally. Her foster mom loves her dearly but wants someone for Libby that will spend as much time as possible spoiling her.
Libby weighs about 13-14 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is heart worm negative and takes heart worm preventative.
Libby is currently being fostered in Marion, Ohio, but she is thinking she might move to FL – so if you are in FL and interested – she can get a ride, so please apply.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
