  Meet Leo!
(#3092)

Leo has a guardian angel who found him dirty, without identification and alone on the streets. The streets are no place for a puppy so she took him home, cleaned him up and looked for his family. No one came forward so NBGR was contacted to find this little guy a loving home.

Leo is estimated to be 7 8 months old and is a total love bug. He gets along well with his foster brothers and sisters and is discovering toys. He is working on crate training and house training. He needs help on both but keep in mind hes still a puppy who is getting a late start.

Leo needs a family who will help him with house manners, he is very eager to please so with structure and patience we feel this little guy will come a long way in a short time. A furry brother or sister would be nice too so he has others to play with and learn from.

Leo will soon be neutered, is up to date on his shots, and on heartworm preventative. Because he is so young he will need to be heartworm tested in May/June to insure accurate results.

We think Leo is a Griff/Shih Tzu mix but he is showing he has the heart of a Griff through and through.

Leo weighs 9 lbs and is located in Houston, TX.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie Lawrence at conniel@andell.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
