Meet our big love bug KeeLee. She is a 6 year old "grande" griff with a lot of love to give and a terrific outgoing personality. She loves to go for walks and is completely house trained. She gets along fine with the four other dogs in her foster home. She is crate trained for the car, but is not in to being crated at home. KeeLee is friendly, but sometimes needs a little time to warm up to someone new.
KeeLee has a few special needs. She will require someone dedicated to keeping those needs in mind: Thyroid medication twice a day. Will need to be walked to help keep her weight under control with a strict diet; not too many treats. KeeLee came into rescue quite obese at 32 pounds and she is down to 25.5, with maybe a few more to lose. She also has mild separation anxiety. She is not destructive when left a lone but does get upset if left alone too long. She would do better with someone who works from home or is retired. KeeLee is worth her few quirks. She is really a wonderful, fun, and very loving griff.
KeeLee is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is on heartworm preventive. She is spayed.
KeeLee is being fostered in Columbus, Ohio.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
