  Meet Joe!
(#3492)

Meet handsome Joe! Hes about two years old and full of energy. He plays well with other dogs and his younger cat sister. Joe can also entertain himself and would do best with lots of toys.

Joe is shy around people, but is never aggressive - he will just show himself to his room if he gets overwhelmed. Joe is crate trained and is house trained for the most part, but will occasionally forget his manners. His foster parents are working on that. They are also working on his leash walking skills.

This sweet boy spent the beginning of his life in hoarding conditions and is slow to trust humans, but hes making progress! Joe will require a fenced yard. Little Joe will need patience and consistency to learn how to love and be loved. His favorite things are breakfast, dinner, snacks, and stuffed animals. His least favorite things are loud noises, sudden movements, and bath time.

Joe is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative. He takes heart worm preventative. Joe is about 12 lbs.

Joe is being fostered in southern Indiana.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
