Jock is a lovely 10 year old griffy gentleman who has come in to rescue as his owner passed away this summer. Jock has been well cared for by his owner since he was a puppy. He is sweet, intelligent and very loyal. He enjoys the company of another dog. He loves his leash walks but also loves to run around in a fenced yard and chase away squirrels and other threats. Jock is a very young 10 years old – he is quite agile for a mature guy and will jump up and snuggle happily next to you on the couch and on the bed.
Jock loves to be with his person. He is happy to meet new people and warms up to them quickly – he is an all around friendly and fun loving fellow - he loves to play with his squeaky toys.
Jock weighs about 16 lbs. and he is neutered. He is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and he takes heart worm preventative. He will be microchipped before he is adopted.
Jock is being fostered in Old Saybrook, CT.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
