Meet Jesse!
Jesse came from a puppy mill auction in Oklahoma. He was bought by a rescue group so that he wouldn't be sold to another puppy mill. That rescue group donated him to National Brussels Griffon Rescue because they had too many dogs. Just look at that beautiful face.
Jesse needs a stay-at-home human who will help him with his social skills. He is a diamond in the rough and is ready and willing to form a loving, trusting relationship with a forever family if some patient person will just take the time to show him how it is done. That one-on-one attention is something poor little Jesse has never had.
Jesse is two years old and weighs seventeen pounds. He could put on a few pounds as you can see. He would do best in a home with another well-trained dog who could teach Jesse the ropes and help Jesse understand how a family (pack) functions. A fenced-in yard is a must.
Jesse is neutered, microchipped, on heart-worm preventative, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Jesse is located near Wichita, Kansas.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Flo.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
