Meet Java!
Java is 6 months old and weighs 10 lbs. She could possibly get up to around 15 lbs when full grown. She has been spayed and given all her puppy shots. She has been microchipped and started on heartworm preventative.
Java loves everyone she meets and is very social, outgoing and playful. She does well with cats, other dogs, and children.
Java was picked up as a stray by the City of McKinney. Despite the fact that she was wearing a little rhinestone collar, her previous owners never claimed her.
Java is doing great with housebreaking. She needs to be taken out every 2-3 hours when she is out of the crate and active. It will be less often as she gets older. Once she has completely mastered housebreaking she will love to sleep in bed with you at night.
Java loves to play! Her favorite toys are small stuffed animals. She likes to play fetch. It is lots of fun and we do this numerous times every day. You will need to make sure any paper is out of reach as she likes to shred it if she can get her paws on it.
Java is leash trained to walk with a harness. She loves to go for walks. She is very sensitive and eager to please and she will be a joy to obedience train if her new owner desires. I think Java would love to learn to do tricks and be very good at it.
Java is sweet and feisty as well. She is ready to find her forever home where she is loved and treated as the special little fur girl that she is.
Java is located in McKinney, Texas.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
