Jackson is 8 years old and 16 pounds. He is super sweet and cuddly. He loves to roll over in your arms and fall asleep. He is a happy boy that always has a waggy tail. Jackson loves to follow his foster mom everywhere she goes. He is a great bed partner, first one on the bed, last one off.
It would be best if Jackson could have a fenced yard and a crate to curl up in when his family is not home. He does not want to share his forever home with cats, rabbits or birds. Jackson is good with other female dogs but should not be with another male.
Jackson is working on house manners. He is going outside to potty as long as he is reminded and is learning not to dart out the door at any chance.
Jackson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and on prevention. He does have a heart murmur that does not require treatment at this time.
Jackson is being fostered in Marion, OH.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
