Meet Inky Bob!
Inky Bob is one beautiful little man. He is Affen/Schnauzer mix full of boundless puppy energy. The only thing he likes more than running and playing with other dogs is being petted and loved on. Oh, how he loves to be loved.
Inky is active and needs an equally active family to help him burn off all his extra energy. He is very athletic, and could be a good candidate for agility or another dog sport. For sure he needs a big backyard to show off his zooming and cutting skills.
Inky does well with his potty training when kept on a schedule. He also is doing very well with leash training and loves going for walks. He is crate-trained, and his crate is where he spends the night, but he loves it when he can get on the bed with his humans and the puppies in his foster home. Inky wants us to let you know he would immediately accept an invitation to share your bed at night (hint…hint).
Inky does well with smaller dogs but can be a little rough so you need to keep an eye on him if he gets overly excited with play. He is comfortable with and can hang with larger dogs. Inky had a rough beginning in his previous life, and was abandoned for several days without food. This experience has caused him to have some food aggression. He needs to be fed separately from other dogs and should not be disturbed when eating. He will not be adopted to a family with young children and his new family will need to continue to work with him to help him overcome his food aggression tendencies.
Inky is fully vetted, micro-chipped, and neutered. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 25 pounds.
Inky’s foster mom says anyone lucky enough to adopt Inky, you will have a loving and true companion for life.
If you have a big heart, lots of energy, and some extra room in your bed, Inky could be the guy to melt your heart. He sure has melted ours.
Here is a cute video of Inky.
Inky Bob is located in Dallas, TX.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie Lawrence at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
