Meet Gus – he will be so happy to meet you. Gus is a 20 lb. black smooth boy. He is about 2-3 years old – we are not positive as his previous owner adopted him from a shelter about a year ago. He is an owner surrender – but honestly we can't figure out why anyone would give this happy boy up!! His foster mom writes that he is crate trained, house clean and "just a love to be around." He plays with any of her dogs who will play with him. He loves to be in your lap. He is learning to walk on a leash – not great at that – but he is working on it.
Gus is heart worm negative and takes preventative. He will be microchipped and brought up to date on vaccines before he goes to his new home.
Gus is being fostered in North East, MD.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
