Meet Gus -- our 12 month old owner surrender. This big guy is as sweet as can be. He loves to run and play then cozy up on your lap and fall sound asleep. He would enjoy having another buddy to play with and is great with children.
A family move made it impossible for him to stay with his family which included 2 children. He is a very social boy that was raised with love. We will only consider homes with a secure fenced yard and the time for this sweet boy. He has had a hard time adjusting to crate time, so probably 4 hours at a time in a crate would be maximum for him.
Gus is neutered and microchipped. His vaccines are up to date and he is HW negative. He is 15 pounds and will probably gain another pound or two. His body needs to catch up with those long legs.
Gus is being fostered in Ohio.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
