Meet Griff – a sweet fellow if ever there was one. Griff came to us because his owners dumped him. They left him with a friend while they went on a trip and when they came back they never reclaimed him. Griffs foster mom says he is a very gentle soul who is just looking for love and his forever home.
Griff is learning to be housebroken – still working on going outside – but doing pretty well with it. He needs someone who will keep him on a consistent schedule. He walks well on a leash. He enjoys the company of the other dogs in his foster home but is really a people dog.
He weighs about 14 lbs. - is a bit tall and skinny. When we first got him we thought he might be about 8 years old because his teeth looked bad – but we had his teeth cleaned and he only lost one tooth! He acts younger than 8 – loves to play and is a happy guy. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. Griff is heart worm negative and takes heart worm preventative.
Griff is being fostered in Bridgewater, NJ.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
