  Meet General Lee!

Poor General Lee spent the first few years of his life in a crate... bought as a puppy as a gift for someone who really didnt want him or have time for him. A relative took him in and he then spent another couple years in a loving home, however they could no longer afford to take care of him. The General has some itchy skin issues that we believe was mostly due to allergy to flea bites.... When he came into rescue, poor General had a severe skin infection and bare, red, oozing patches all over his body from itching and biting his skin. We took care of those pesky fleas and WOW !!!! his coat started growing back in and he feels a LOT better !!

Despite his rough start, The General is a total lovebug !! He is in a wonderful foster home with another Griffy boy. His foster mom and dad fuss over him and he eats it up ! He warms up slowly to new dogs but seems to be great with people. He is a very happy boy and enjoys playing fetch.

General Lee is 6yrs old, 18lbs, neutered, heartworm free and on preventative, needs to be kept on a grain-free diet, needs to be kept flea-free (obviously) and likes to potty outside.

General Lee is being fostered in Fredericksburg, VA.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Cristen at emmaresq@yahoo.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
