Meet Fargo!
Fargo is 3 1/2 years old red rough Brussels Griffon who is looking for his first forever home. He was rescued 8 months ago from a puppy mill closure in Upshur County. He has been in foster care so he could learn what home living is like. He has completed his heartworm treatment, is neutered and up to date on his shots and has a microchip. He is now lead trained and sleeps in a crate at night.
Fargo is still timid and needs a quiet, loving home, preferably with perhaps another dog for him to bond with. Fargo weighs 17 1/2 pounds. He likes to sit on the couch to watch TV in the evenings. If you would like to read about the puppy mill closure contact Margie and she will send you the link to the story.
Fargo is located in Haslet, TX (near Fort Worth).
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Margie.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Update!
Fargo has been Adopted!
September
8, 2008 - Update: (Fargo is now named Clyde)
Hooray!!!! Clyde is doing great. He has 18 straight days pooping
outside with no accidents in his crate. It is like a switch was
turned on and he realized what he was supposed to do. He now goes
to the door and scratches to let us know he needs to go out. What
a relief this is and he is so happy about it. He has become a different
doggie. Gone is the frightened little fellow we brought home. He
loves eating and playing and just adores Ron. Every Sunday we take
the "boys" to the Dairy Queen and sit outside and have ice cream.
Also, grooming has become a fun experience and he no longer climbs
the walls and cries. He actually enjoys it now. Clyde has also learned
to give kisses like Otis does. Our groomer calls them "the boys".
Thank you again for letting these two precious ones be a part of
our lives.
Fondly,
Sharon & Ron
