  Meet Dan!
(#3389)

Welcome Dan to NBGR. Let's find him the right match!

This little guy is full of sweetness. A cuddly little guy that loves to sit on the couch and just hang with his foster mom. He is comfortable in his own kennel as long as he has a cozy bed and an Elk antler to chew on. He is excited to go on car rides always in an airline crate. He walks on lead and also enjoys time in the fenced yard.

There is a complicated side to this little boy. He is an owner surrender released to us because he showed extreme fear of the man in his home. He would bark franticly and could not be consoled. He also picked on a senior dog in the home. He is getting along with the dogs in his foster home, but cannot accept his foster dad. We feel he is best suited for a female home with possibly one quiet dog - and NO cats or rabbits. He has met his foster mom's grandchildren and is happy to be held by them. Because of his little issues, it's best to only consider this little guy with older children.

Dan is 6 years old and weighs 9 pounds. He is crate and leash trained. He wore a belly band the first few days in his foster home but is doing good with potty training since then.

Dan will be a wonderful addition to the right home. He is fully vetted and ready to meet his match.

Dan is being fostered in Mt. Crawford, VA.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at gingersnap@frontier.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
