Daisy is a sweet, soft little marshmallow. Life as a puppy mill breeding dog has taken a toll on her little body. But good veterinarian care is helping to make her a healthy happy girl again. Because of chronic bladder infections with no care, Daisy has to urinate a little more often. She continues to get better, but may always have an occasional accident.
Daisy is so much more though. She loves to be held and cradled. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes. Love and affection is all this little girl asks for. She curls up against her foster mom on the bed and never moves. Her expressive eyes tell how much she loves her new life.
Daisy is trained to use a potty pad. She does not have accidents in a crate or in bed at night.
Her forever home would need to keep a potty pad out for her and be patient with the occasional accident.
Daisy is good with other dogs, loves all humans big and little. She is fine with cats.
Daisy is a 10 pound spayed female. She just turned 7 years old this month (July 2013). She is up to date on all necessary vaccines and is on heart worm prevention. Daisy is microchipped.
Daisy is being fostered in Marion, OH.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
