Daisy Mae is a shy, sweet, eight year old girl rescued from a kill shelter in Las Vegas. Her person was in the hospital and unable to reclaim her.
Daisy Mae is looking for a quiet home either by herself or with other low key small dogs, (unsure about cats.) She is cautious of people approaching her and needs someone that will take the time to let her get settled in her new home. Once settled, she will always stay close by your side.
Daisy Mae has had quite a few litters of puppies in her past and we
are happy now that she can retire and be the spoiled princess.
She has been spayed, teeth cleaned, a hernia repaired and is microchipped
and up to date on vaccines.
Daisy Mae likes to go for rides in the car. She can walk on a leash, but thinks it's better to be carried. She loves to play fetch, so her new family must be willing to play ball with her. She carries around and “collects” small items. She does not chew them, just collects.
Here is a cute video of Daisy Mae playing with her ball:
Please consider giving this shy girl a new home!
Daisy Mae is being fostered in Nevada.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Diane Shelby at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
