  Meet Cosmo Knott!

Cosmo Knott is a tiny 8 lb, one year old Griff who was pulled from a shelter after having been found wandering the streets as a stray. This precious little boy is quiet, shy yet very loving. By the way he reacts we feel he may have been mistreated in the past. He cowers when picked up and at times acts as if he expects to be hit.

Cosmo cautiously bonded with his foster parents and is starting to take treats from their hands. We feel he has benefited from having confident foster siblings to follow and show him there is nothing to fear. He gets along well and plays with other dogs and doesn’t chase the cats.

Cosmo may have also been an outside dog previously. He is doing well with potty training but will need to be watched closely when he goes to his new home to make sure he continues his good house manners. Cosmo is also doing well with leash training and is enjoying quiet walks, but does startle easily by loud noises and passing cars.

Cosmo needs a quiet, childless home with a patient family who will help him gain confidence and get through his fears. Other confident dogs in the home will also help Cosmo as he does better with a pack. Griffy traits that Cosmo possesses are the joy of zooming around the backyard at lightning speed and curling up on your lap. He is neutered, heartworm negative, on preventative, and up to date on his shots.

Cosmo Knott looks forward to a gentle, caring family of his own who will love and protect him and a lap he can curl up on without any fears. Could your family be the family this little boy has been waiting for?

Cosmo Knott is located in Bryan/College Station, TX.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
