Little Miss Coco is a big personality in a small package. Coco turned 7 years old in June. She will charm you as soon as you meet her! She is a very velcro griffy girl and loves to be right with her foster mom all the time. She gets along with the other dogs well and settled in to the routine in her foster home pretty quickly – although she can be a bit snippy if startled while sleeping. She loves to play tug with the another brussels griffon in her foster home – who is twice her size! She is a big toy lover – carries one with her all the time and likes to sleep with a toy.
Coco is sweet and friendly with people but she does not like cats and will chase them non stop given a chance. She also is a bit of a barker – lets you know when anything at all is going on. Coco will go for a walk but she doesn’t like to walk for longer than about 10 minutes. She came in to rescue at 9 lbs. and the vet says she needs to lose about a lb. which might explain her hesitation to walk! She has a little stiffness in one knee when she first gets up – and the vet said it’s a patella issue – but it’s not bad – and the vet says that weight loss will help it. Coco takes glucosamine.
Coco is spayed and heart worm negative. She takes heart worm preventative. She had a dental during the summer and she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is crate trained.
Coco is being fostered in Cooper City, FL.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
