This little fellow is quite intelligent and loving. Charlie is a 7 year old, 14 pound owner surrender. He is perfectly housebroken and crate trained. He loves everyone he meets and asks all to pick him up for a big cuddle. He is quite obedient and even does tricks!
Now to the quirky side of Charlie. He does love his toys but is not willing to share them with other dogs. He was allowed to bully the other dog in his past home and is struggling with living in a multi dog household. He is doing better but would do best being the only dog.
Charlie is a little too interested in cats, birds and other small animals to live in the same household, as well as any small noise making creatures.
Charlie is very excited when his harness comes out as he loves to walk. He could never be off lead as he was allowed to chase after cars and such in his previous home. What a great companion Charlie would be for a senior or anyone needing a little buddy.
Charlie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is HW negative and on prevention.
Here are two cute videos of Charlie:
Charlie is being fostered in Marion, Ohio.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
