  Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a very friendly little guy who loves playing with respectful children, and is happy, happy, happy! He is very smart, with tons of energy, so could be an amazing agility or obedience dog! He loves car rides, playing in a fenced yard, going for walks, and sleeping in the big bed at night with the family! This little guy is hard to resist, and did we say HAPPY?!!!!!!

Charlie is about 2 yrs; old, and about 13 lbs. He should weigh about 11 lbs. We are working on a weight and exercise reduction program, so he should be down to his trim form in no time at all. He is also doing very well with house training.

Sometimes Charlie howls for attention when left alone because he is a lover and just wants to be with you every minute, so needs a home where someone is home much of the time, and another little dog to keep him company during those infrequent times when he must be left home alone.

He has been well cared for and is a social little fellow, who has liked everyone he has met since coming to rescue. Sometimes he is a little too interested in some cats, but not all of them.

Charlie was originally surrendered by a breeder in to a shelter, and was adopted out. His owners surrendered him back to the shelter because they could not keep him any longer and the shelter turned him over to us.

Charlie is neutered. UTD on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on monthly preventative and is micro chipped.

WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER FACILITY WHERE APPLICANTS CAN MEET OUR GRIFFS PRIOR TO INITIATING THE ADOPTION PROCESS. Each of our little Griffs are lovingly cared for in our nationwide network of private foster homes until the perfect forever home can be found for them.

Charlie is being lovingly fostered in a private home near Overland Park, Kansas.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Jan at nbgrtexas@yahoo.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
