Meet Benjamin Franklin!
Benjamin is one of five puppies who were born on the 4th of July to the amish-auction mom named Libby. He is quite a character for being so young. Ben is Captain Courageous, afraid of nothing, curious, intrigued by the slightest sound or smell. He leads his brother and sisters on wild romps around in the grass, he steals toys so they’ll give chase, then he plops down to enjoy the spoils. He has such a charming, dashing (no pun intended) personality!
Ben is a big boy for his age, but he is ALL heart and soul. Did we mention he’s as smart as a tack on the end of a ginsu? He knows his name, “no,” “com’ere, com’ere, com’ere,” he has learned to travel up and down the three steps to the backyard, and is working hard on using his potty pad for housetraining, although he still has to work on remembering where it is and walk to it, instead of stopping whatever thrill he’s chasing to do his business where he stands. When he’s all tired out, he stretches out and cuddles next to his foster mom on the floor, then falls immediately asleep. He’s just adorable… and aaaalllllll puppy!
Ben is up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. He is being fostered with his family in Marion, Ohio.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
