Who wouldn’t want a cute little black and tan Beamer in their lives? Beamer was surrendered to NBGR by a breeder who no longer had use for him. We welcome this handsome guy into our program and are honored to find him a loving home who would value him as a family member and not a profit center.
Beamer is approximate 10 years young and he weighs a whopping 8 lbs. He is a super sweet boy who loves everyone, never meets a stranger and is often stopped during walks with his foster mom because he’s such a people magnet. Beamer gets along great with other dogs, cats and would be fine with older children.
This tiny boy has a beautiful coat and adores being brushed and fussed over, probably didn’t have much of that where he came from. He is missing most of his teeth but does fine eating kibble. He also has cataracts so there is a loss of sight but he gets around well with the sight he does have.
Beamer more than likely spent most of his time outside so the world was his potty. He has been working hard on and is doing pretty good job on potty training especially now that he is on a schedule. He still needs work but with patience and keeping him on a schedule we feel he should continue to improve.
Beamer does well on a leash and is crate trained. He’s not crazy about staying in a crate but has learned the foster family routine while his foster mom is working. We think he might prefer to be contained in a small area where he has a little more freedom.
Beamer would love a home where his human could be with him most of the time, who would enjoy leisurely strolls, cuddling on the sofa and spoiling him rotten.
He is ready to meet his family and he wants you to know the sooner the better so he can make up for the time he missed out on. Do you have a little extra room in your heart and home for this little charmer?
Here is a cute video of Beamer.
Beamer is completely vetted and located in the Dallas, TX area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie Lawrence at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
