  Meet Arnie!
(#2949)

Arnie is a very sweet 7 year old mill survivor. He is a red rough griff who weighs about 12 lbs. His foster mom writes that there are only good things to say about this little sweetheart. He eats well, and will back away from his food to let one of the other dogs have it, so I am feeding him in the crate so he can eat all of his food. Sometimes he will take treats from my hand, if it is liver he will always take it from my hand.

Arnie sleeps in the crate with Sassy and never makes a peep all night. He is doing well with his housebreaking but needs to be kept on a schedule of getting outside regularly so he doesn’t make any mistakes – it's a work in progress.

Arnie just loves to be in the house and sleeps on anything that is soft. He is very quiet, hardly ever barks, loves people and children. I don't know about cats, but I am sure he would love them too. He will do best with a quiet home where he will get a lot of love. He loves to sleep on your lap all evening. He is a great dog! He has learned to walk up and down steps and jump on the couch. There is not a bit of aggression in him, he is truly a lover.

Arnie is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. He is heart worm negative and takes heart worm preventative.

Arnie is being fostered in Marion, OH.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Lyn at gingersnap@frontier.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
